3. Eligibility for Aid Programs

Responder Relief Fund provides financial assistance and support services to active, retired, and former first responders, including but not limited to firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), paramedics, and other qualifying public safety professionals, as well as their immediate families where applicable.

Eligibility for specific programs is determined on a case-by-case basis. Meeting general eligibility criteria does not guarantee the receipt of aid. Responder Relief Fund reserves the right to determine eligibility and award amounts at its sole discretion, based on available resources, demonstrated need, and program guidelines.

All applicants must provide accurate and truthful information. Submission of false or misleading information may result in disqualification from current and future programs and may be subject to legal action.

4. Application Process and Decisions

Applications for aid are reviewed by Responder Relief Fund staff and volunteers. By submitting an application, you consent to the collection, review, and verification of the information provided, including confirmation of first responder status through appropriate channels.

All application decisions are final. Responder Relief Fund is not obligated to provide reasons for approval or denial of any application. We are committed to treating all applicants with dignity and respect throughout the process.

Information submitted as part of an application is handled with strict confidentiality and is not shared with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to process and fulfill the application.

5. Donation Terms

All donations made to Responder Relief Fund are voluntary and non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law. By making a donation, you confirm that the funds are from a legitimate source and that you are authorized to make the donation.

Responder Relief Fund uses donations to fund direct financial assistance programs, operational expenses, and outreach efforts. Donation amounts, allocation, and use are at the discretion of Responder Relief Fund leadership, consistent with its mission to support first responders.

Donors may receive acknowledgment of their contribution for tax purposes. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of donations. Responder Relief Fund is not responsible for providing individual tax advice.
